Certified & Qualified
I am a certified and qualified East Tennessee home inspector. It's been my privilege since 2014 to work with home buyers and especially first time home buyers to help them better understand the home inspection process and explain in depth the inspection report information.
I am a member, in good standing, with HITA (Home Inspectors of Tennessee Association) and InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and have earned the certification of Master Home Inspector with both organizations which is the highest level designation for home inspectors.
Trained & Experienced
I follow the State Of Tennessee Standards Of Practice chapter 0780-05-12-.10 which fully states all requirements for Tennessee home inspectors. However, I try to exceed above the required standards to provide you with a quality and informative home inspection report.
I am a Certified Professional Inspector CPI® trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (www.NACHI.org)—which is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors that provides education, training, and certification.
All InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® are required to pass an Inspector Exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited Continuing Education courses each year in order to maintain their membership in good standing.
In order to become certified, our inspectors were required to take inspection courses related to the interior and exterior of the home, including the common and major areas of concern for home buyers, such as the foundation, heating and cooling, roof, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Buying a home is typically the biggest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection because the inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be evident to you. Such defects can range from maintenance items to simple replacements or repairs to severe damage or safety and health concerns.
Backed By the Honor Guarantee
InterNACHI® is so certain of the integrity of our members that we back them up with our $25,000 Honor Guarantee. InterNACHI® will pay up to $25,000 (USD; maximum collective aggregate) for the cost of replacement of personal property lost (and not recovered, restituted, or insured) during an inspection and stolen by an InterNACHI®-certified member who was convicted of or pleaded guilty (or no contest) to any criminal charge resulting from the member's taking of the client's personal property. The claimant agrees that the exclusive venue for any action against InterNACHI® arising out of this Honor Guarantee is the District Court in Boulder County, Colorado. InterNACHI's Honor Guarantee is valid throughout the U.S. and Canada.
